Black and off-white chequered floor tiles are the original decorative statement. Use these Churchill Snow & Midnight Chequer Mosaic Tiles to create a room-stealing period feature floor in your bathroom, hallway, lounge or kitchen! Because they're made from durable porcelain, they can even be used in the garden to create a patio space.
The individual tiles measure 45x45mm. There are 36 tiles per sheet with a 3mm gap between tiles, and 12.57 sheets per sqm.

We recommend using the Kerapoxy Easy Design grout with these tiles, as it performs well alongside anti-slip tiles and pool mosaics.
Once the tiles are laid we recommend using the LTP Porcelain Tile Protector before grouting for the best finish.

Q & A
Hi Abby, Our product images show projects with both black and white grouts. Grout choice is down to your personal preference. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Sharon, Thank you for your enquiry. The mosaic sheet is a 291x291 size and the individual tiles on each sheet are 45x45, consisting of 36 tiles her sheet of mosaic. Kind Regards Walls & Floors
Hi Ed This is the Churchill Midnight from the same range, here is a link for you: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/churchill-midnight-mosaic-tiles Kind regards Walls and Floors
Hello Lesley, Yes, grout colour is a complete personal preference. Most people tend to go for either of the below options: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-110-manhattan-grey-tile-grout https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-120-black-tile-grout Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Lola As these tiles have an anti-slip rating, the pigment of black grout would be difficult to clean off the white tiles. We would recommend a dark grey if possible and use the LTP Porcelain Tile Protector as a pre-grout treatment to help clean off the excess. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Hi Raj, You will need to grout between the individual tiles on the mesh, yes. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Amanda We recommend using a flexible cement-based adhesive, such as the one below: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-flex-grey-floor-tile-adhesive Kind Regards Walls and Floors
