Description
Love the natural look? Our Multicolour Riven Slate Tiles are the perfect addition to your home! A rich abundance of natural autumnal shades, with a riven surface, showcases the slates' rawest finish. You can expect to see natural slatey clefts over the tile surface formed through the laying of the stones' make-up. Please note that these tiles can vary between 7-12mm thick due to their nature. We suggest grading your tiles prior to fitting.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance
Due to the porosity of natural stone, they do require sealing. They need to be given a few coats before grouting and a further coat after to ensure they are well-protected. To keep the tiles their natural colour you can use the LTP Mattstone, but if you require to slightly deepen the colour, the LTP Colour Intensifier can be used as an alternative. To increase the longevity of the seal, ongoing maintenance and cleaning can be carried out using the LTP Waxwash.

Hi There, To keep the tiles their natural colour you can use the LTP Mattstone, but if you require to deepen the colour slightly, the LTP Colour Intensifier can be used as an alternative. We would also recommend using the LTP Waxwash, to clean the tiles.
Hi Nathan Yes, these tiles cna be used on the walls outside as long as they are fitted with a flexible, cement-based adhesive, grouted and then also sealed as they are porous. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Hi Mike, There are 10 tiles per box of this tile. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Richard You can tile onto plywood, for a floor it needs to be a minimum of 15mm thick. The boards need to be screwed down at 30cm intervals and laid brick bond or staggered so the joints are not uniform. Before applying adhesive, the boards need to be primed with an undiluted primer and the adhesive must be an S1 flexible. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Good Morning Sarah, These tiles are not R-rated, but as they are Matt they will have some slip resistance. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
