Q & A
Hi Barry Thanks for your query. The manufacturer doesn't make a skirting tile in that range however previous customers have cut the tiles into skirting lengths and finished the top edge with a trim or a bead of silicone. Kind regards Walls and Floors
Hi Martin, These tiles are glazed porcelain, so fine for all forms of underfloor heating, including the electric cable systems: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/underfloor-tile-heating Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Haydar These tiles are suitable for external as they are frost proof. The also have a texture which will provide a degree of slip resistance in wet weather conditions. Green moss and mould can grow on any external surface, but being a glazed tile, it can only sit on top and is much easier to keep clean than the likes of unsealed natural stone or paving slabs. We would recommend obtaining a sample to ensure it is suitable for your personal requirements, and if you require any further suggestion on suitable tiles, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 and they will be more than happy to help you. Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Claire These tiles are rated as R10. They have a matt and slightly riven texture which give enough slip resistance for the personal requirements of most customers, but we would recommend obtaining a sample to test before making your final decision. Should a tile with more grip be required, we would recommend a rating of R11 upwards. Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Zed, Yes they can. Due to the weight, we do not recommend installing them onto plaster or plaster skim, but they can go directly onto bare plasterboard or tile backer boards such as Hardie Backer: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/hardiebacker-board-james-hardie Regards, Walls and Floors
Hi David These tiles are printed at random from a master canvas. So although the tiles will not be an exact match to each other, some characteristics of the pattern will be present approximately every 4-5 tiles. Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Dave, The tiles are glaze porcelain so can be used on external walls no problem. We'd advise using a flexible cement based adhesive such as the Stand Flex (slowset) or Uniflex (rapidset): https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-standard-flex-grey-tile-adhesive https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-uniflex-white-wall-floor-tile-adhesive-20kg Regards, Walls and Floors
