What's the slip rating please Our Advice

Hi Lucy, These tiles do not have an anti-slip rating, I'm afraid. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Enas31/03/24
What is the R value for those tiles? R9 or R10?Our Advice

Hi There, These Tiles do not have a slip rating as they haven't been tested, so I cannot provide that for you, I am afraid. As they are a Matt Tile, however, they shall require some resistance still. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Are these tiles suitable for wet room wall? Our Advice

Hi Winnie, These tiles are glazed porcelain so fine for use in wet areas. It is essential to ensure the substrate you are tiling onto is of sufficient construction for supporting the weight of the tile and adhesive. Due to the weight, these tiles cannot be installed onto plaster or plaster skim, but they can go onto unskimmed plasterboard or a tile backer board such as Hardie Backer. In both cases, it is essential that these substrates are treated with a suitable tanking membrane such as the Ardex WPC before the tiles are fixed: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ardex-tile-preparation-sealants-ardex-wpc-waterproof-protection-coat If you wish to discuss your project in more detail, please call our sales team on 01536 314730, and they will be more than happy to help you. Regards Walls And Floors

Are the matt floor tiles anti-slip?Our Advice

Hi Nina, These tiles are fine for all residential/domestic foot traffic and suitable for bathroom floors, the matt surface of these tiles gives a degree of slip resistance, but we would recommend you order a sample first though to make sure you the finish is suitable for your requirements. Regards, Walls and Floors
