Whitechapel Gloss White Mini Metro Tiles - what size straight edge trim should be used for this tile ?Our Advice

Hi David, Trims need to be slightly bigger than the thickness of the tile, to allow for the adhesive used, in this case, they are 7mm so the trims will need to be 8 or 10mm. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

We are looking to use these tiles in our kitchen around the walls, behind hob and under the kitchen units. Will they need a trim for this purpose? Also what adhesive / grout is recommended for using with these tiles pleaseOur Advice

Hi Heather, There are two instances in your installation where a trim may be required. The first is a finishing strip, so at 4 tiles high, if this does not meet the bottom of your wall units, a trim can be used to finish the top edge. Also, if you have any external angle to tile round, a trim can be used to cover the cut edges: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/p-v-c-economic-tile-edge-trim-08mm-depth-white-trim For the adhesive we recommend the Kwik Grip Ice White and for the grout, we would suggest the Norcros 4 Into 1. Samples of these grout colours are available should you wish to compare before making your final decision: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-grip-ice-white-wall-tile-adhesive https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout Regards Walls And Floors

Are the edges on the Chapel Tiles glazed. Thanks. Our Advice

Hi Cliff These tiles do not have a glazed edge so a trim would be require. If you will be finishing an area with a cut edge, you will need an 8mm trim. However if you are finishing with a bevelled edge all round, 6mm will be sufficient: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=8mm+trim https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=6mm+trim Regards Walls And Floors
