Hi There I have a walk in shower and have been told to use Grimex to clean the tiles....will this ruin my existing silicon sealer around the edges of the shower? Our Advice

Hi Brian Thanks for your query. The silicone sealer shouldn't be affected by the Grimex but please see the link to the data sheet so you can read it before buying. https://m2.wallsandfloors.co.uk/media/amasty/amfile/attach/ltp_grimex_data_sheet.pdf Kind regards Walls and Floors

On the info it says underfloor heating: no, so forgive me asking a daft question, but just to be clear, I can't use this to clean my tiles in my bathroom which has underfloor heating? And if the answer is no, what would you suggest instead please? (I need to seal my tiles as they get dirty while you look at them and I was told I would have to really properly clean them first)Our Advice

Hi Elly Thanks for your query. This product is fine for use on tiles laid over underfloor heating. There is an issue with the website listing lots of accessory products as not suitable for UFH when they can be. Apologies for the confusion, we are working to rectify this. How is the best way to apply this LTP Grimex tile cleaner to external tiles on a terrace/patio?Our Advice

Hi David, We would suggest that you mix the solution (1 part Grimex to 10 parts water to start with) in a bucket, pour it over the area in small sections at a time and scrub with a stiff bristled brush. once scrubbed, leave for 5 minutes before scrubbing again. If you have sufficient drainage on the patio, pour clean water over once done to rinse. Depending on how dirty the floor is, repeat as required using a slightly stronger mix. In extreme cases, Grimex can be used neat straight from the bottle. I hope this helps but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01536 314730.
