We have limited time to finish our project. Could a coat be applied prior to laying the tiles with a further coat once set? Our Advice

Hello Kirsty, Yes these tiles can be sealed prior to them being fitted and again once the job is complete,

How do you apply the the LTP to slate tiles. Thank you in advanceOur Advice

Hi David Before sealing, we recommend cleaning the slate with the LTP Grimex to ensure there are no manufacturing contaminants that could affect the seal. The Colour Intensifier can be applied before grouting with a brush, cloth or a sponge. It needs to be applied evenly and buffed after 15-30 minutes before buffing off the excess. After grouting, a further coat can be applied in the same way, and as well as affirming the seal in the tile, will also seal the grout to aid cleaning and prevent discolouration. To keep the sealing good condition, we recommend the LTP Waxwash as a general cleaner. https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-grimex-intensive-tile-cleaner https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-waxwash-tile-maintenance Regards Walls And Floors
